Advanced waveform tools allow users to not only view waveforms, but to conduct forensic engineering analysis to determine the exact cause of faults and improve power system reliability.

EnergyPQA®’s waveform analysis now supports single phase and single cycle waveform display. It gives the user the ability to add time ranges and annotation comments to the waveform. Ranges and annotations are saved in the database so they can be shared with others and kept for a historical perspective. The system displays RMS values cycle by cycle, enabling the user to trend RMS. The advanced waveform analysis also provides power quality direction and power harmonic direction. Pinpointing the exact location of the fault ensures speedy recovery and timely mitigation of losses.
