Westbury, NY (Monday, July 13, 2020) – Electro Industries/GaugeTech (EIG) announces the release of its newly designed draw out switchboard case for the Nexus® 1272 advanced revenue meter. The new switchboard case is a direct replacement for the existing General Electric Style S1 relay case meters. It has been improved upon and is designed for simpler installation and testing. With a one button cover release, an easy-remove pull paddle, and a draw out meter cradle, the meter is ideal for substation and power plant applications. Its cover is NEMA 4X-rated for use in outdoor enclosures. Wiring follows industry conventions, eliminating the need for new wiring.

The Nexus® 1272 is a 0.06% highly accurate energy meter. It is designed for critical sites and is SCADA ready with DNP3 and Modbus protocols standard. The meter also offers advanced power quality recording for analyzing faults and voltage anomalies.
