Electro Industries Releases Automatic Energy Usage Reporting Software
Westbury, NY (Monday, August 22, 2016) – Electro Industries / GaugeTech (EIG) announced the release of the Report Exporter automated reporting feature for its MeterManager EXT energy management software module. MeterManager EXT, in conjunction with EIG’s Communicator EXT™ 4.0 software module, gives the user the ability to manage and configure EIG’s fleet of power and energy meters, monitor power quality and usage remotely, and view detailed reports of all meter data. Report Exporter lets the user easily configure and schedule customized reports of logged electricity and energy values that can then be emailed automatically to multiple users, uploaded to a network via file transfer, and/or saved to various file formats for integration into multiple applications.
The reports can consist of data from individual meters or groups of meters, and the user can manipulate the data to meet any application needs; for example, totalizing energy usage for a substation or identifying the highest Peak Demand period. Multiple reports can be configured and set up to be sent out or uploaded automatically on any of the following schedules: hourly, for multiple hours, daily, weekly, or monthly. Report Exporter gives the user the information needed to perform smart analytics of their power distribution system, and as a result, to be proactive in addressing the planning and estimation to meet their facilities’ energy needs.
If a customer already has a fully licensed version of the Communicator EXT™ 4.0/MeterManager EXT software, you only need to update your existing software to add the Report Exporter feature.
