Westbury, NY (Thursday, February 25, 2016) – Electro Industries / GaugeTech (EIG) released the latest update to its comprehensive energy management software, the Communicator EXT™ 4.0 application and the meter management component of the software, the MeterManager EXT application. Many improvements have been made to both applications to further enhance their functionality and usability.

Among the updates, the software has these following new features:

  • An updated setup for easier software installation.
  • An increase (up to 3000) for the number of meters in one system that can be handled by the MeterManager EXT application.
  • Expansion of email alert capability, which now offers encrypted SSL communication.
  • More options available for the LITE, shareware version of the Communicator EXT™ application.
