Next month, our professional training team will head to the Wolverine State to conduct a comprehensive training seminar on our Shark and Nexus product lines. This course is an absolute must-attend for anyone who works with Electro Industries power meters, from substation engineers and metering technicians, all the way to energy managers.

When will the training session take place?
The Electro Industries Ann Arbor training session will be held on March 8th, 2017 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Guests should arrive half an hour early to sign up and check in.
Where will the training seminar be located?
The training session will be held at Washtenaw Community College in the Morris Lawrence Building, Room 105. The college is located at 4800 E. Huron River Drive in Ann Arbor, Michigan, zip code 48105.
What is the cost of attendance?
The seminar is FREE to attend, however guests are responsible for their own transportation and lodging (if applicable).
What do participants need to bring?
Guests are required to supply their own Wi-Fi enabled Windows laptop, running Windows Vista or later. You should download and pre-install the Communicator EXT 4.0 software prior to attending.
What contents will be covered by the training?
This is a comprehensive course that will teach you everything you need to know in order to operate our Shark and Nexus power meters. The morning session will be dedicated to application and questions, while the afternoon session will focus on programming. Course contents include, but are not limited to:
- Meter setup and configuration
- Communication through a variety of protocols
- Meter programming
- Interpreting data in real-time
- Accessing historical data
- DNP implementation and interfacing
