Electro Industries Power Meters Qualify Under Buy American Act of 1933

June 21, 2011 – Electro Industries/GaugeTech (EIG) announces that its Shark and Nexus Series metering products qualify as purchases under the Buy American Act of 1933, 41 U.S.C. Statute 10a et seq. Originally signed into law by President Franklin Roosevelt, this Act gives preference to American products for purchases using federal funding. This has been very important lately due to Federal Stimulus funding that has been available.

EIG has been assembling power meters in the US since 1975. Currently, all Nexus and Shark power meters are assembled in our State of the Art manufacturing and test facility located in Westbury, NY.
