Free Training Seminars

In order to get the most out of our power meters, it is important that your staff knows them inside and out. That’s why we have a team of dedicated training specialists that travels the country, providing FREE seminars to customers who wish to attend.

These two-day training sessions provide a hands-on environment to learn about our products from the people who know them best. Here is a schedule of our upcoming training locations:

  • Ann Arbor, MI – March 8
  • Lincoln, NE – April 4-5
  • Greensboro, NC – April 19-20
  • Boynton Beach, FL – May 9-10

On-Site Training

No training seminar scheduled for your area, or maybe you want a large group training? Don’t worry. We provide on-site training services, where we will go to your facility and introduce your employees to our products. Fees for on-site training are based on the number of days and number of attendees. Please call 866-928-7908 to learn more.
 

Technical Support

If something goes wrong, you can rest assured knowing you have access to Electro Industries’ world class technical support team. Our qualified technicians can service your products in-house or on location. Our rates are dependent on the type of service that is required and your geographic location:

In-House Repairs

We charge a flat rate for our in-house repairs, which also include free upgrades to specific hardware and firmware levels. Our rates are as follows:

  • Single and Dual Display Meters: $205.00
  • Shark 100 and Shark 200 Meters: $300.00
  • Nexus Series Meters: $493.00
  • Portable Units: $932.00

Note: if board requires replacement, there will be an additional fee.

In-House Calibration

  • Single and Dual Display Meters: $195.00
  • Shark 100 and Shark 200 Meters: $250.00
  • Nexus Series Meters: $350.00
  • Portable Units: $550.00
  • Calibration Certification with Point to Data: $100.00

Note: if board requires replacement, there will be an additional fee.

Field Service

Our technicians can also come to you. If you are interested in our field services option, please refer to the chart below for our rates:

  • Local Rates (within 100 miles of Westbury, NY): $150.00 per hour
  • National Rates (outside 100 mile service radius): $1,2500 per workday, $700 per travel day, $225 per hour of overtime (after 10 hours)
  • Outside the United States: $2,500 per workday, $800 per travel day, $225 per hour overtime (after 10 hours)

EIG uses advanced standards, from the purchasing of components to the final shipping of products, to insure that our instruments are free from defects when shipped and operate for many years in service. We provide factory tours and have been know to impress people quite often.

In-Process Environmental Testing and 100% Inspection

EIG meters utilize brand-name, industrial temperature components. They receive 100% component insertion inspection, automated computer controlled testing, temperature deviation-based accelerated life burn-in testing and extensive 2.5 KV dielectric testing. We strive to achieve low failure rates by using comprehensive quality-based design and manufacturing techniques. We test extensively so that users can be confident that when they receive and EIG meter, it is one of the best in the industry.
